Heading into this year’s Billboard Music Awards, we all wondered if this would be the last time One Direction would be up for Billboard Music Awards. The band has been on hiatus for quite some time, and while they say it’s not forever, we can’t help but be pessimistic about the whole situation. Let’s take a look at their two nominations…
One Direction won one award on Sunday night and it was Top Duo/Group. They beat out some real star power, as Maroon 5, U2, The Rolling Stones, and Twenty One Pilots.
The other award they were nominated was for Top Touring Artist. There was almost no way Taylor Swift was losing this award and this was the case. She beat out One Direction, The Rolling Stones, U2, and Madonna.
