2018 may be the year of the #MeToo movement, but it’s also the year women take front and center in music; Nicki Minaj has just set another record by having the most top 10 songs on the charts for women on Billboard’s R&B/hip-hop airplay charts. Her latest song “Chun-Li” is the 30th song to break the top 10, surpassing legends Mary J. Blige and Beyoncé for most songs that broke into the Top 10.
Nicki has just signed on to join Post Malone for the September 1st Philadelphia ‘Made in America’ music festival, and her new album, ‘Queen,’ is scheduled to be released August 10th.
In other Nicki news, there have been heavy rumors that she and Eminem are romantically involved, as Eminem gave her a ‘shout out’ during his performance at the Governors Ball recently. These are just rumors though and it doesn’t seem to have legs.
