Nickelback Sets October Release for 11th Studio Album

Nickelback is preparing to launch a new chapter with the announcement of its 11th studio album, Everything Under the Sun, which is set to arrive on Oct. 30 through Virgin Music Group. The release marks the Canadian rock band’s first full-length project in four years, following 2022’s Get Rollin.

To kick off the album campaign, the band has released the lead single, “Rattle the Cage,” a hard-driving anthem featuring acclaimed guitarist John 5. The song was inspired by the electricity of Nickelback’s live shows and serves as the first glimpse into the band’s latest collection of music.

According to frontman Chad Kroeger, the new album showcases the full range of the band’s sound. Fans can expect a mix of heavy guitar-driven rockers alongside more melodic and introspective material, reflecting the musical diversity that has defined Nickelback throughout its career.

The album announcement comes after an eventful stretch for the group, highlighted by its worldwide Get Rollin’ tour and the release of the documentary Hate to Love: Nickelback, which offered an inside look at the band’s journey and enduring popularity.

Since breaking through with Silver Side Up in 2001, Nickelback has sold nearly 60 million albums worldwide and produced a string of rock radio staples including “How You Remind Me,” “Photograph,” “Rockstar,” and “Burn It to the Ground.” With Everything Under the Sun now on the horizon, the band is looking to build on that legacy while introducing a fresh collection of songs for longtime fans and new listeners alike.
