The NFL has turned into a quarterback driven league. Without a star quarterback or at least a very good one, you’re more than likely not making a huge impact in the playoffs. Very rarely do you win the big NFL game without a quarterback everyone recognizes.
Well, this NFL Draft season we wanted to take a look at a few teams that need a quarterback and who might make a move to get one in the first round come April 28.
Chip Kelly is now in San Francisco and there are reports that he is not a fan of quarterback situation. Colin Kaepernick could be on the move to another team or the bench. This is one situation we’ll definitely want to keep an eye on.
The Eagles and Browns have swapped first round picks among many others this year and next because of this demand for a quarterback. The Browns have capitalized on teams wanting that second quarterback in this class and has gained many picks in the mean time. This kind of trade just goes to show how important it is to get the quarterback position right. Now, we’ll just have to wait and see what the Browns do with the eighth pick to figure out their quarterback needs. Do they draft one there or wait until a later round to take a chance on one?
