The NFL is filled with veterans and those who have put in the time to become the great stars that they are. Sometimes the NFL can come easy to the younger guys and today that’s what we’re going to talk about. Which rookies in the league have been outstanding and have shown that they can handle the pressure and talent in the league in their first year?
Carson Wentz’s name jumps out immediately at us when it comes to this question. Sure he only threw for 190 yards and one touchdown against the Bears on Monday night, but he looked great doing it. He was poised and his receivers had plenty of drops. Wentz looks to be a quarterback who can stick around forever.
Will Fuller of the Houston Texans was an early pick for a good reason apparently! In two games this season, he has two 100-yard performances. He has a touchdown and a ridiculous 23.4 yards per catch rate in two games this season.
Corey Coleman struggled in week one, but Robert Griffin III got hurt and things became a mess for him. Things became clearer for him against the Ravens Sunday though. He caught two touchdown passes in that one showing off some nice moves and speed throughout the contest.
