NFL Referee Had A Hot Mic Moment During the Chiefs-Jaguars Playoff Game

Shawn Hochuli, a NFL referee was recently caught with his microphone still on during the Kansas City Chiefs and Jacksonville Jaguars AFC divisional-round game on Saturday at Arrowhead Stadium. During the first half of the game while the Chiefs were leading 10-7, officials threw a penalty flag on Arden Key for roughing the passer, however, Hochuli turned his microphone on too early and was heard expressing how upset he was with the noise level stating, “Everybody shut up.”

Hochuli started back in 2014 and was promoted from back judge to referee in 2018. He has also been an official in the Pac-12 Conference, the Arena Football League and Arena Football 2.
