Steam is a PC gaming platform run by Valve, but they’ve taken to hosting movies on their platform in hopes of making a few extra bucks. They have a movie section with some good flicks to check out if you so choose. We do warn you though because the cost can be a little outrageous for a 24-48 hour rental.
Some of the latest movies added to Steam include “The Cabin in the Woods,” the entire “Saw” series, “The Hunger Games,” “The Hunger Games,” and “Reservoir Dogs.”
The big issue holding back this from taking off is that the cost to see two movies is very similar to owning a Netflix monthly subscription and/or an Amazon Prime Video subscription.
Steam has 125 million users on its platform, but we’re not sure that they’ll be jumping at the chance to see these movies.
