Christmas music on your local radio station means you have to start thinking about stocking stuffers and holiday shopping in general. It also means there are new Christmas songs on the charts. Here are few Christmas releases that are from your favorite artists…
Josh Groban debuts on the charts with a John Lennon classic, “Happy Xmas (War is Over)” which is a curious selection from Josh. The original 1971 song was written to be an activists view of the holidays, not a light-hearted song at all.
Kelly Clarkson’s “Christmas Eve” made its debut on the charts recently, and it will remind you of a Mariah Carey tune. The song is quick, upbeat, and shows off Kelly’s range and wit; it’s not an easy tune to sing.
Glee star Jane Lynch belts out a holiday parody with Kate Flannery & Tim Davis called “Semential Christmas” and worth hearing a few times.
