Actress Neve Campbell stars in the Dwyane Johnson (The Rock) thriller ‘Skyscraper’ this weekend, showing the world she’s still a relevant star. This Canadian born actress grew up waiting to be discovered, having dad teach drama, her mom performed at local events, and grandparents were actors in the Netherlands a generation before. Her first big break came in a television commercial in 1991, a Coca-Cola commercial with Canadian rocker Bryan Adams for his ‘Waking Up the Nation Tour.’
Neve’s resume is an astounding body of work; being in the ‘Part of Five’ ensemble, ‘The Kids in the Hall’ ‘Scream’ franchise films, ‘Wild Things’ ‘House of Cards’ and now ‘Skyscraper’ which opens at the end of the week. She has an interesting first name, Neve, which comes from her mother as it was her mom’s maiden name.
