A few days ago we learned of Mick Fleetwood’s new book ‘Love That Burns: A Chronicle of Fleetwood Mac, Volume One: 1967–1974,’ and now we go down under for the best rock book (or stocking stuffer) of the year with the ‘AC/DC, the Complete Story. The book is nearly 150 pages of inside info, ranging from the unexpected death of Bon Scott to the addition of Brian Johnson.
In the early days, Bon’s drug addiction was getting in the way of success, so much so that Angus and Malcolm Young had almost fired him multiple times before his eventual death. Gerard Huerta a local graphic designer created the infamous AC/DC band log but had never received a penny for his work. AC/DC finally made their way into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, inducted on March 10, 2003.
