According to tasteofcountry.com, after a record breaking album and huge tour in support of it, Morgan Wallen is all set for his next project. Wallen recently wrote on social media that, “Last show for a while. Now it’s onto album grind mode, let’s get it.” He didn’t give out details for his next project, however, it is a safe bet that the album will arrive sometime next year, as he doesn’t hold on to songs long before releasing them.
His next album has a lot to live up to after the success of Dangerous: The Double Album that was released on January 8th, 2021, including 30 tracks, it debuted at the top of the U.S. Billboard 200 and U.S. Top Country Albums charts. It broke the record for the most weeks at the top of Billboard’s Country Albums chart after holding the number one spot for 51 weeks.
Wallen’s 2021 debut album, accumulated over 240 million on demand streams during its debut week, marking the largest streaming week ever for a country album. Wallen’s Dangerous Tour ended on September 24th, and he has no other shows scheduled for this year. As of the moment, he won’t appear on stage again until March 19th, 2023.
