Monday Morning Music Headlines

It’s Monday morning, yes another week of working or the man, or the woman. Let’s kick off your day with a few music news headlines…

The long departed Freddie Mercury’s image will appear on the tail of a few Norwegian plans as part of a ‘Tail Fin Hero’s’ tribute executed by the airline this fall.

The final show of the Black Sabbath farewell tour has been pressed to film and will be released in theaters across the country on September 28th. The film is called ‘The End of the End.’ Ozzy will appear as a solo artist July 14 at the Rock USA festival in Oshkosh, WI.

The Doors complete set of released radio play singles will be available in a seven-disc vinyl set, due to be released mid-September. The box set proudly provides 20 singles from the band, including the ‘B’ sides.

Gene Simmons and Ace Frehley have teamed up to pen two songs this past month, schedule to appear on Ace’s latest project. Yes, this does fuel rumors of a Kiss reunion tour, but nothing on the record from either Gene or Ace.
