MLB’s Worst Teams to This Point

The MLB is in full swing and just Thursday we discussed the best teams in baseball. Teams like the Cubs, White Sox, Red Sox, Orioles, and Nationals have really impressed those who have been watching. Now, it’s time to talk about the ones who have not done a lot of impressing…

As of Thursday morning, the absolute worst team in baseball is the Minnesota Twins. They’re 8-25 and a full 14 games back of the White Sox in the AL Central. They are a shocking 2-15 on the road and have only won one of their last 10. Is it too soon to eliminate them from playoff contention?

The Atlanta Braves are the worst team in the National League and are close to being the worst overall. They are 8-24 and although they’ve been better than the Twins lately (3-7), they have just two wins at Turner Field this season. Things are looking up for them though as they are only 12.5 games out of first place in the NL East.

Besides those two teams, there are plenty of teams scratching for that third to worst position in baseball. The Angels and Yankees both have just 13 wins, while the Astros, A’s, Reds, and Brewers all have 14 wins.
