The MLB season is in full swing and we have talked about the best pitchers and hitters in the game lately. Now, it’s time to talk the best teams. Let’s take a look at a few of the best records in baseball. **All stats are from end of Tuesday night’s MLB action.
The Chicago Cubs have dominated Major League Baseball and have done it with a 25-6 record. We’re not sure anyone thinks there’s a shot they don’t make it to the World Series. This team has the youth, depth, and all around team to make it deep into the playoffs.
The other team in Chicago, the White Sox, have run away with the AL Central with a 23-11 record to start the season. The big moves they made in the offseason have really helped them out as well as the emergence of Jose Quintana as a front of the rotation pitcher.
The Red Sox, Mariners, Mets, and Nationals all have 20 wins are in first place or within half of a game of first place in their division. Many thought the Red Sox would emerge as the leader of the AL East, but they are tied for first with the 19-12 Orioles. That is going to be one fun race to follow as the season progresses!
