For many years, baseball has been all about traditions. Well, one tradition (and not a great one by any means) has been ended. With the new labor deal being put in place, a new policy has hit the MLB that is refreshing to see.
The MLB has put together an Anti-Hazing and Anti-Bullying Policy that basically says no more dressing of players in anything offensive. Typically the veteran players on each team will force players to dress in ridiculous clothing and outfits. This policy will eliminate that immediately. No longer will we be seeing young players dressed in skirts or princess outfits, which is a great thing if you ask us.
While we are fans of traditions and team bonding, dressing someone in something that could be offensive to themselves or others isn’t the way to do it.
