Country star Miranda Lambert is sharing her thoughts on the benefits of a childfree lifestyle and how it allows her to support and mentor up-and-coming musicians. In a recent episode of the Dumb Blonde podcast, the 40-year-old singer opened up about the freedom she enjoys by choosing not to have children, and how this choice has enabled her to focus on nurturing the next generation of artists.
“Since I don’t have children of my own, I want to use what I’ve learned to help younger generations, especially artists,” Lambert explained. “No one gives you a handbook on how this industry works when you reach a certain level.”
Lambert highlighted how being around passionate, younger artists reignites her own creative spark. “Seeing the fire in the eyes of someone just starting out is rejuvenating. It reignites your own fire,” she shared, adding that mentoring new talent is her way of staying inspired and avoiding burnout.
The singer emphasized the importance of passing on wisdom and encouraging newcomers to enjoy their journey. “I want to give them some of the wisdom and remind them to enjoy the ride,” Lambert said.
This conversation comes at a time when the choice to remain childfree has become a significant topic of discussion, especially in light of recent political commentary. Lambert’s reflections add a positive perspective to the ongoing discourse, highlighting the unique opportunities that come with choosing a childfree path.
