We’re getting closer to the weekend, Thanksgiving is just a few weeks away, so let’s share a few music news headlines to help you get through the day…
Cheap Trick’s Tom Petersson and wife Alison founded ‘Rock Your Speech’ a music event that began when their 7-year-old boy Liam had to overcome a speech disorder caused by autism. The event will be held December 2nd, at the LA Orpheum.
The Beatles will be releasing a holiday special project called ‘Happy Christmas Beatle People,’ dropping December 15th, which will contain all seven holiday releases on 7″ vinyl. The LP was originally distributed every holiday while the Beatles remained a group in the mid-60s to 1969.
It’s not too early to begin thinking about stocking stuffers, and Prince (photo book from Afshin Shahidi) Nikki Sixx (The Heroin Diaries) Stevie Nicks (Gold Dust Woman) and The Untold Story of Bon Scott and AC/DC’s Back In Black are great books to pick up in November.
