Mickey Rooney Jr. Passed Away: At 77

According to deadline.com, the eldest son of Mickey Rooney, Mickey Rooney Jr., a Mouseketeer, an actor, and member of Willie Nelson’s band, has passed away at his home in Glendale, Arizona on Saturday at the age of 77 years old. His death was announced via Paul Petersen, the former actor and founder of advocacy group A Minor Consideration, Petersen posted the news on Facebook saying that Rooney passed away peacefully but not revealing the true cause of death. In a quote Petersen stated, “Mickey Junior was tall and talented, He could sing, dance and act … and get in trouble. We three were fired for Conduct Unbecoming a Mouse!” Rooney Jr. also appeared in multiple films, such as Hot Rods to Hell, and 1975’s Beyond the Bermuda Triangle. On top of that he was also a musician that played guitar, keyboards, drums, and later ended up playing in bands with Willie Nelson. Rooney Jr. is survived by his companion Chrissie Brown.
