Meek Mill Almost Fought a Pro Boxer

Gervonta Davis and Hector Luis Garcia’s fight was interrupted after a scuffle involving Meek Mill and another professional boxer disrupted the fight. The featherweight title boxing match was paused halfway through the eighth round on Saturday, January seventh. Meek Mill was seen in a clip with boxer Garry Russell Jr. and his team, prior to both parties getting escorted out of the Capital One Arena outside of D.C.

Meek Mill went on Twitter to say, “Congratulations tankkk!!!,” referring to Gervonta Davis’ nickname, “I almost fought a boxer telling him this fight not going 12 rounds I missed the big bomb!!!!” Adding, “I would never let no petty shit escalate to let somebody movie run, I just walked away .. I came to support tank and boots!!!!!! Good wins [star emojis]” He continued to say, “I was nice to everybody at that fight if you was there you saw!, The blogs gone put up the aggressive part after I respond to something aggressive … everybody in that section seen my level of respect towards others… i just gotta step my response game up! I have no business going back and forth that hard with a random person and we just talking about sports…so my apologies for wasting time for nothing! I had a few shots I know how to dodge those! Congrats Tank and boots!!!”

In other related news, Meek Mill had his phone stolen. However, shortly after Ghana police hand delivered him his phone and revealed that they had arrested a suspect named Nuhu Sule. Although after Meek Mill admitted that he didn’t know for sure if his phone was stolen or if it had fallen from his pocket. Feeling guilty he decided not to press any charges for the theft.
