Mario has just released a brand new single, Like Her Too, that is co-produced by Blwyrmnd and SprngBrk. In a tweet, Mario stated that the track is “a song inspired by duality.” He added that, “A woman loving every part of herself without judgment is where her freedom starts. As a man, I support her wild untamed self while protecting her innocence.”
The track garnered controversy for having a featured artist, Tory Lanez. Lanez was accused of allegedly shooting rapper Megan Thee Stallion’s feet back in July of 2020. Many fans weren’t happy with Mario’s decision to have L:anez on the track. Since the incident, Lanez was found guilty of all felony charges, including assault with a semiautomatic firearm.
Musically, Mario last released an Ep titled Closer to Mars, which included five tracks and marked Mario’s first collection of songs since Dancing Shadows, which was released in 2018. There still have been zero details released on Mario’s previously teased collaboration with Ty Dolla $ign that Oscar and Grammy winner D’Mile produced.
