Marilyn Manson has been in the public eye for many years, which isn’t too surprising because he just turned 48 this week. His work in music started in 1994 when he released “Portrait of an American Family” and the rest is history as they say.
Eight albums later we have one of the best hard rockers of the past 20 years and he’s coming out with another album this year. It is going to be titled “Say10” and is currently set to be released on February 14.
Not surprisingly, Marilyn wasn’t always known as Marilyn Manson. That is his stage name that he conjured up based on two big names in pop culture, Charles Manson and Marilyn Monroe. His real name is actually Brian Warner. That name wouldn’t necessarily be a great name for a group or solo career though.
Marilyn Monroe turns one year older this week, but he’s still churning out music. We surely think he’ll continue to put out music when he does turn 50.
