In 2016, Mariah Carey was out on tour but unfortunately didn’t make it to a few of the originally planned concerts. She was to perform in Argentina and Chile in late October, but it didn’t happen. Mariah actually sued FEG Entretenimientos in January of 2017 but now we are hearing that she’s being countersued for those same two concerts! FEG is countersuing her for $3 million, $1 million in damages and $2 million for damages.
They have come out to say that her not performing and coming out saying it was because of promoter negligence essentially has caused issues with their customers.
$3 million is certainly not chump change and we’ll be on the lookout for how this one progresses.
