Man Faces Three Years for Destroying Presidential Walk of Fame Star

If you’ve ever had the fortune to be in Hollywood you know the ‘Walk of Fame’ stars that are found on various streets and sidewalks surrounding the businesses’. You also know that a man took the time to destroy the Donald Trump star for some reason, and now that Glendale man has been identified and charged with vandalizing city property.

The man is Austin Mikel Clay, aged 24, accuse of taking a pic to the star, making it unrecognizable. He actually turned himself in after the stunt. Austin is out on $20,000 bail and could face up to 3 years in prison if convicted. This is not the first time the current president’s star has been vandalized; it’s been paint sprayed, damaged by a sledgehammer, and urinated on over the last two years.

In additional Hollywood Walk of Fame news, there has been a contingent of city fathers that wanted the Bill Cosby star removed, but the Chamber of Commerce indicated that it will remain as is; once it’s up it stays up, regardless of what transpires after its formation.
