Lorde was all set to perform in Israel next summer, but this is no longer the case. After many discussed her potential involvement in a concert in Tel Aviv, Lorde has decided to bow out.
Artists are now being questioned if they plan a concert in Israel after how their government is treating those from Palestine. We stay out of politics, but there seems to be a huge backlash if artists do perform in Israel so we understand why Lorde has canceled her performance.
Lorde said on Twitter that she had many discussions with many people on the matter and decided the right move was to cancel her show. What an interesting move by Lorde but one we are not surprised by when it’s all said and done.
