Looking Into Alisyn Camerota

Alisyn Camerota is the co-host (with Chris Cuomo) of the CNN ‘New Day’ news program each morning, prodding, pushing, questioning and revealing the truth behind every story like a seasoned journalist. There will be a shakeup on the ‘New Day’ program with Chris leaving the time slot to launch “Cuomo Prime Time” shortly, airing weekday evenings at 9pm. John Berman will join Alisyn as co-host when Chris makes his move.

Alisyn Camerota is a graduate of the School of Communication of the American University in DC, and her fans are familiar with her work with CNN, but she began in 2013 working on Fox News co-hosting America’s News Headquarters, with Bill Hemmer, and spent some time on Fox and Friends before making the move to CNN. Alisyn is also an author, publishing ‘Amanda Wakes Up,’ a novel that began with her experiences and interviews during the 2012 presidential election.

On a personal note, Alisyn is the mother of three children; twin girls born in 2005, and a son born in 2007. CNN is lucky to have this powerful woman at the helm of ‘New Day,’ a welcome friend each weekday morning in our homes.
