Lenny Kravitz a True Entertainer

Lenny Kravitz is the son of the late actress Roxie Roker and NBC producer and TV executive Sy Kravitz, born in New York in the mid-60s. Lenny has had great success on the charts with tunes like “American Woman” and “Are Ya Going My Way.”

Did you know that Kravitz is a Grammy record holder? Yup, Lenny won ‘Best Male Rock Vocal Performance’ for a record four years in a row from 1999 to 2002. On a personal note, Lenny had a tough time working through his divorce from “Cosby Show” star Lisa Bonet in 1993.

Outside his music career Lenny has a substantial amount of credit in the entertainment industry having appeared in films like ‘The Rugrats Movie,’ ‘Zoolander,’ ‘The Hunger Games,’ and Fox TV series ‘Star.’

Lenny doesn’t get out much, but did announce a rare live event at Harvey’s Outdoor Amphitheater in Lake Tahoe on Friday, July 14th.
