The NBA season is about 10 games deep depending on your favorite team and we’re almost to that point of where we can tell who is for real and who isn’t. In about 10-15 more games we will be one-fourth of the way through the season. It’s going by fast! Let’s talk who is doing great and those who aren’t.
The Celtics are 9-2 and leading the way in the Eastern Conference with the Pistons being the team behind them at 7-3. They’re a big surprise, but Tobias Harris and Reggie Jackson have really been great for them through 10 games. After the Magic at 6-4, there are four teams tied at 5-4 none of which are the Cavs. So, where are the reigning Eastern Conference champions? They’re 4-6 and struggling, but will surely join the top three of the conference before it’s all said and done.
The Western Conference has a majority of the expected names at the top with the Rockets and Warriors at 8-3 before seeing the Timberwolves at 7-3. Minnesota has a young team but people loved Jimmy Butler adding their solid nucleus in the offseason. Like the Eastern Conference there is a jumble, but this time with a record of 6-4. The Spurs, Grizzlies, and Trail Blazers all sit at 6-4.
