Lamb of God & Mastodon Unite for Epic Metal Collab ‘Floods of Triton’

When two titans of modern metal like Lamb of God and Mastodon collide, you get the explosive single, “Floods of Triton.” Available on all streaming platforms, this track serves as a powerful conclusion to their co-headlining tour, celebrating Leviathan and Ashes of the Wake.

“Floods of Triton” showcases the signature strengths of both bands. Randy Blythe’s fierce vocals command attention, while Brann Dailor’s masterful drumming adds precision. Each guitarist delivers distinctive riffs, and Troy Sanders’ booming voice blends perfectly in the mix. The song is a true fusion of both bands’ styles, respecting their individual legacies while creating something fresh.

Recorded at Mastodon’s West End Sound studio in Atlanta, the track was co-produced by Mastodon and Tyler Bates, known for his work on soundtracks like John Wick and Guardians of the Galaxy. The collaboration feels like a genuine celebration of mutual respect between the two bands, giving space for each member to shine.

Fans can pre-order a limited edition vinyl picture disc of the single, and both bands will reunite for a special performance at Riot Fest in Chicago on September 22 before heading off on separate tours.
