Kesha has been battling Dr. Luke and Sony for quite some time now and she has finally decided to go a different way when it comes to her lawyers. Her previous lead lawyer was a man named Mark Geragos. He is being replaced by O’Melveny & Myers LLP.
Geragos made a questionable move back in 2014 when he implied that another talented artist, Lady Gaga, was also raped by Dr. Luke. This was something that Lady Gaga denied from the start and also resulted in a lawsuit against Geragos for defamation.
Things aren’t going exactly as planned for Kesha, but here’s to hoping that a new lawyer will be the move that she needs to help her settle these issues with Dr. Luke and Sony.
