Kerry Washington is one of the most talented actresses in the business and just the other day it was announced that she would be honored this September at the Women Making History awards. This award show is in its sixth year and is held in Beverly Hills.
It’s a unique award because it goes to women only in Washington D.C. and Los Angeles because that’s where the National Women’s History Museum is. Kerry is one of three women to be given the award for Los Angeles this year with Gwynne Shotwell and Marne Levine being the other two honorees.
Others to be given this award include Sophia Bush, Viola Davis and Rachel Zoe among others.
