Kenny Chesney Releases Limited Edition Sandals Supporting Marine Life

According to tasteofcountry.com, Kenny Chesney is celebrating summer time with the release of his limited edition sandal designs. Chesney has teamed up with the San-Diego based brand reef to release two special sandal designs, made from either palomino or a saddle colored leather. Fans will also have to pick between the men’s strap that has a skull and cross bones and the women’s thong style sandals that have a rose gold color Jolly Roger stud on the strap. Both sandal designs being sold will support Pigeon Key Marine Science Camps, which is a Florida Key based organization that aim to teach young people about coral reefs, marine life, and the ocean. Fans that have seen Chesney during his Here and Now tour have already seen the sandals
as a QR code is shown during the concert that redirects fans to the Reef website. Reef has already sold out of the first batch of sandals prior to Chesney’s recent Los Angeles show. According to Chesney, “They share so many of the same core values I do when it comes to ocean conservation, I’ve worn their sandals for years, as have a lot of my friends down in the islands. When they wanted to work with us through No Shoes Reefs, I was delighted to have them become part of this work that’s been so focused on local projects.”
