According to sources close to the rapper, Kanye West is currently seeking treatment following a number of controversial, online outbursts.
“West’s team has been looking at treatment facilities for him,” the source reportedly shared. “He wants to enter a behavioral treatment center to be a better human and a better dad. Kanye hasn’t agreed to a particular place yet because he is worried for his privacy and wants the place to be in a beautiful setting with a luxury component.”
West’s track record of unsightly incidents includes public harassment of his ex-wife Kim Kardashian and her boyfriend Pete Davidson, violent images in his music videos of West burying Davidson alive, and aiming a racial slur at talk show host Trevor Noah.
“For the sake of the kids, Kanye has told Kim he’s not making any public appearances or inflammatory social media statements, and he will go away somewhere to get better,” the source continued.
West has been moderately inactive when it comes to the offline world, as he recently canceled his performance at this year’s Coachella festival.
