Kanye West Calls For End of Feud With Drake, Asks For Collab

At the beginning of this week, Kanye West made a video addressing–and hoping to squash–his notorious beef with Drake that has gone on for quite a few years now.

“I’m making this video to address the ongoing back and forth between myself and Drake. Both me and Drake have taken shots at each other and it’s time to put it to rest,” Ye stated alongside record executive J. Prince.

The rapper’s sentiments did not stop there, as he continued on to actually invite Drake to join him for a collaborative project with a benevolent purpose.

“I’m asking Drake on December 7th to join me on stage as a special guest to share the two biggest albums of the year, live in Los Angeles, with the ultimate purpose being to free Larry Hoover,” shared the “Stronger” rapper. “I believe this event will not only bring awareness to our cause, but prove to people everywhere how much more we can accomplish when we lay our pride to the side and come together.”

Back in 2018, West asked former president Donald Trump to grant Hoover clemency, and his determination to bring the imprisoned gang leader justice only continues.

Drake has yet to respond to West’s message, leaving their 12-year feud still up in the air.
