After hinting at it on stage in September, Jon Bon Jovi and Pitbull have officially announced their first musical collaboration: Now or Never, a remix of Bon Jovi’s 2000 hit It’s My Life. The track is set to release on November 14, with fans already able to presave the song.
A Friendship Turned Collaboration
The unlikely duo first crossed paths at the 2017 Songwriters Hall of Fame gala, where they quickly hit it off. Over the years, the friendship evolved, leading to a duet at a Jimmy Buffett tribute concert in April. Now, with Now or Never, they’re bringing together Bon Jovi’s rock roots and Pitbull’s energetic Latin flavor, reimagining a classic for a new generation.
A Music Video and Grammy Debut?
The music video for Now or Never will feature clips from their live performance at Jones Beach Theater in Long Island, where Bon Jovi teased the collaboration for the first time in September. The release date coincides with the 25th annual Latin Grammy Awards on November 14, where Pitbull is scheduled to perform. Fans are eagerly speculating that Jon Bon Jovi might join him on stage for the live debut of Now or Never.
With the song combining nostalgic rock with a modern Latin twist, Now or Never promises to be a fresh anthem, uniting fans of both genres in a celebration of resilience and living life to the fullest.
