Jodie Foster Stars in Hotel Artemis This Weekend

Jodie Foster stars in the film ‘Hotel Artemis’ opens this weekend; the film is set in futuristic war-torn Los Angeles, detailing the life of a nurse (Jodie Foster) who manages an ER for criminals. The film is generating a lot of Hollywood buzz, and it’s her return to the silver screen after a five-year hiatus.

Jodie began acting as a child, appearing on the television series Doris Day, Nanny and the Professor, Julia, Daniel Boone and Disney productions before she hit 10 years of age. As a bankable actress, Contact, Silence of the Lambs, Flightplan, Panic Room, and Inside Man have solidified her Hollywood stock.

Here are three things you may not have known about Jodie; she’s a graduate of Yale University, her debut into acting came as one of the Coppertone Suntan Lotion babyies in a commercial when she was three, and only got a chance to play Clarice Starling in The Silence of the Lambs because first offered Michelle Pfeiffer turned the role down.
