Jimmy Butler is one of the most talented shooting guards in basketball and just the other day he announced that he wanted out of Minnesota. A long-time member of the Bulls, Butler was traded last year to the Timberwolves and it doesn’t seem like that partnership has worked out. He now wants to be traded to one of three teams: the Clippers, Knicks, or Nets with the Clippers being his favorite destination.
The reason for these three teams is that they are in major markets and have the ability to sign two major free agents after next season. As you may know, Butler is a free agent after this upcoming season and it’s looking like nearly $200 million over five years will be required to sign him. We’ll have to wait and see how this situation unfolds!
