Jack White took his live concert to a whole new level when he surprised his audience and girlfriend with a proposal and wedding right on stage.
During the performance, the White Stripes founder invited his girlfriend and fellow musician Olivia Jean to join him for the song “Hotel Yorba.” To Jean’s surprise, White asked her to marry him right before the lyric “let’s get married.”
After she said yes, White romantically carried Jean offstage. For the show’s encore, an onstage ceremony officiated by Ben Swank, one of the co-founders of White’s record label, took place as Jean and White tied the knot.
