You would think wealthy celebrities would know better, but we now hear that Aretha Franklin did not leave a will, her estimated estate value at death is thought to be over $80 million in assets and copywrite potentials.
Aretha Franklin had four children, from the youngest Kecalf, 48, to Ted, 54, Edward, 61, and Clarence, 63. All will become interested litigants in the upcoming legal discussion about the disbursement of her assets and earthly belongings. Aretha’s niece, Sabrina Owens expects to be appointed as Aretha’s personal representative of the estate.
Aretha died on the exact same day of Elvis 41 days apart, and was the 1st woman to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, is a member of the UK, Gospel, Rhythm and Blues and Buffalo Halls of Fame, earned 17 normal Grammys, three additional special Grammys, three American Music, and one Critics Choice award. Outside of music, she was also honored it her own Hollywood Walk of Fame star, and the Presidential Medal of Freedom award in 2005.
