According to abcnews.go.com, Actress Anne Heche will be laid to rest at a Los Angeles cemetery among several other Hollywood names. Heche was cremated and her family will be placing her ashes in a mausoleum at Hollywood Forever Cemetery. In a statement to The Associated Press Heche’s son is quoted in saying, “are convinced our Mom would love the site we have chosen for her; it’s beautiful, serene and she will be among her Hollywood peers.” The cemetery is located near the Paramount Pictures lot and was founded in 1899. The cemetery holds the remains of actors including Judy Garland and Douglas Fairbanks, and of musicians including Chris Cornell and Johnny Ramone. Heche will be located in the mausoleum in the cemetery’s Garden of Legends, near Mickey Rooney and also happens to face a lake where Burt Reynolds’ remains are now located. Heche’s car jumped a curb and crashed into a West Los Angeles home on August 5th. An accident that left Heche braindead on August 11th, after both the car and home burst into flames. Heche was kept on life support for three days so that her organs could be donated. Ultimately, her death was ruled an accident with the causes being inhalation injuries and burns as reported by the Los Angeles County coroner.
