It may not be polite to ask a women’s age, but if you’re rock star, it’s hard to keep your age a secret therefore without further a-due, we share that Stevie Nicks just turned 70s years of age over the weekend. Stevie joined Fleetwood Mac with Lindsey Buckingham in 1974; it was the bands 11th lineup change, but the one that brought Fleetwood Mac the fame and fortune they so richly deserve. Here are our favorite Stevie Nicks songs…
“Landslide” is the song that made it happen for the talented singer, the best tune from the Buckingham Nicks LP just prior to their joining Fleetwood Mac.
Although the classic “Dreams” was written by Stevie, we prefer to tout the songs “Stand Back” and “Edge of Seventeen,” as benchmark tunes from Stevie. “Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around” with the late Tom Petty, and “Leather and Lace,” with Don Henley showed the world she could work with other great stars.
