Gwen Stefani Earns Two Standing Ovations During Grand Ole Opry Debut

According to tasteofcountry.com, Blake Shelton and his wife Gwen Stefani performed their hit duets “Nobody But You” and “Happy Anywhere” on stage at the Grand Ole opry on Saturday, September 10th. The performance marked Stefani’s in person debut on the country music stage, with Stefani previously performing virtually in 2020 for the Opry. After the show Shelton shared footage of the couple experience together. Shelton stated, “I am absolutely beside myself right now, Congratulations [Gwen Stefani] on not one but TWO standing ovations for your Grand Ole [Opry] stage debut!!!! That was an incredible moment to witness.”

As most fans know, Shelton and Stefani’s love story started while both were coaches on the set of NBC’s The Voice. Stefani’s performance wasn’t the only Opry performance with a Voice connection that night, season 18 winner Todd Tilghman stepped in after Shelton invited him to make his Grand Ole Opry debut.
