Greta Van Fleet has decided to postpone the remaining March dates, from March 23rd to April 2nd, of their “Dreams in Gold” world tour, as guitarist Jake Kiszka battles ongoing symptoms of pneumonia despite having left the hospital.
“We recognize how upsetting this news is and share your disappointment,” the band wrote, providing fans with the bittersweet update. “While Jake has been discharged after being hospitalized for four days, he is still struggling with pneumonia and its symptoms. The healing process is long and slower than anticipated.”
Kiszka has expressed wanting to perform despite his illness, but doctors have reportedly advised against it.
“To the fans, friends and family that planned to travel great lengths to be with us, your unwavering support has not gone unnoticed,” Greta Van Fleet said with a promise to reschedule the postponed concerts. “We appreciate your dedication, understanding, grace and sympathy.”
