If you’re not fortunate enough to be admitted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, or ever win a Grammy for one of your songs, there’s always the Grammy Hall of Fame for songs. This upcoming season, 25 songs or albums are headed for the Hall.
Dr. Dre, Whitney Houston, Nirvana, The Rolling Stones, Gladys Knight and the Pips, David Bowie, Aerosmith, the Four Tops, Linda Ronstadt, Billy Paul and Gladys Knight, Whitney Houston and more will have songs enshrined in their final resting place, the Grammy Hall of Fame.
Each year the Grammy committee considers the songs that represent the era in which they were popular, their overall influence in the stream of music, and lasting qualitative and historical significance, plus total contributions to the industry.
