According to hannibal.net, in Hannibal, Missouri the Hannibal girls soccer team held a summer camp to focus on their skills on the field. The camp ran from Monday through Thursday and was primarily filled with sophomores and freshman aged girls. According to sophomore midfielder Ashley Davis, “It’s been going really well, We had eight or nine girls show up and it’s been really fun because we all known each other a long time.” She elaborated on the camp saying its mainly just playing friendly, fun games together in order to get more practice and experience playing in general and simply socializing. This past week the Hannibal soccer program also held a camp for young boys and girls, that had over 130 children participating in the youth camp, between the two camps, girls of all ages were empowered to chase after their soccer dreams.
