George and wife Amal Clooney are not ones to talk about change, hoping someone else does the heavy lifting; the put their money where their mouth is, now donating $100,000 to help immigrant children that have been in the news of late. George and Amal wrote the check to the ‘Young Center for Immigrant Children’s Rights,’ the Clooney’s own charity founded two years ago.
You might say that the ‘Young Center for Immigrant Children’s Rights,’ was a response to the couple’s disdain for the new President’s view on immigration and the handling of those that cross our borders illegally.
The two Clooney’s are generous to a fault for the cause they believe in; this year they made a sizeable donation to the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, FL, giving $500,000 to support the survivors’ and the eventual March for Our Lives event.
