Rapper, Future just put out a music video for his track “Back to the Basics,” off of his platinum-certified and Grammy-nominated record, I Never Liked You. The clip was directed by X Skeeboe, and shows Future on the high seas in a yacht, trying to escape the winter’s cold.
The visual of the music video places an emphasis on Future’s delivery and the women that he surrounds himself with. Future had previously released videos for tracks “712PM,” “Worst Day,” “Wait For U,” “Puffin on Zootiez,” “Holy Ghost,” “Love You Better,” “I’m Dat N***a,” and “Massaging Me.” While he had previously released a live performance video for “Back tot he Basics” with Vevo in October of 2022.
