The 2017 NME Awards took place in London on Wednesday and there were many big names that went home winners. One of those winners was Frank Ocean. He was up for the Best International Artist award and had to fend off some serious competition to win this one.
Others up for this award were Drake, Chance the Rapper, Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar and The Weeknd. Frank Ocean came out victorious, taking home his first NME award of his career.
For those that may not know what the NME Award show is, it’s the New Musical Express Award show, named after the music magazine. It is always held in the United Kingdom and focuses mainly on British artists, but does honor others with International awards like this one.
