Former Fox News Chairman and CEO Roger Ailes Has Died

Roger Ailes, former Chairman and CEO of Fox News and the Fox Television Stations Group, has died at the age of 77. Roger’s wife Elizabeth broke the news this morning, with no additional information available at this time.

Ailes, one of the counties leading media moguls, began his broadcasting career as producer and property assistant in Cleveland then Philly in the early 60s, ascending to political life as a consultant to the Ronald Reagan campaign in the late 80s.

Ailes was name the chairman of the Fox News Television Group in 2005, rising to the head of the Fox News Channel, a post he held until his departure in 2016. Roger had also been unofficially working with the Trump campaign during the 2016 election.

Roger Ailes the author, political consultant, media mogul and controversial figure, has passed away at the age of 77.
