Recently, Forbes put out their list of highest-paid actors/actresses and there are names you obviously will recognize. What might surprise you is who ranks where and how much of a difference gender seems to make.
Of the top 10, there are 13 names (a few ties at end of top 10) on the list. Of those 13 names just two are women (Melissa McCarthy and Jennifer Lawrence).
Who sits at the top of the list? Well, Dwayne Johnson is number one at $64.5 million followed by Jackie Chan and his $61 million made last year. Matt Damon rounds out the top three with $55 million.
The two ladies on this list, McCarthy ($33 million) and Lawrence ($46 million) represent their gender well, but doesn’t it seem weird that men dominate this list?
