The Foo Fighters had to cancel shows during last year’s Sonic Highways tour and now they’re suing multiple insurance companies, Lloyds of London, and the insurance broker for money they feel are owed. The band is saying that they were not advised correctly when they canceled certain shows during the tour and are losing money because of it.
The dates in question are dates in England that were canceled due to an injury to Dave Grohl and dates that were canceled because of the Paris attacks. In total, there were seven canceled dates.
In the case of the two dates in England, they canceled three dates, but then scheduled three more in its place, making those original tour dates rescheduled and not just canceled.
This will be an interesting situation to follow as the Foo Fighters could be rewarded a lot of money if they win the case or settle.
